My interest in photography began about 6 years ago and it still continues to to be my passion today. I have had many images published in tourist magazines, books, internet tourist guides, calendars along with commissioned work. I have also won The Irish Meteorological Society Photography competition 2010 with my image of the McGillycuddy Reeks and finished runner-up in 2011 The Irish landscape is always changing its colour and light due to our mild climate and I try to capture this on my travels around the countryside.
A Franciscan friary, founded in 1414, by William O'Kelly, Lord of Ui Maine. Although in ruins it is well maintained by the OPW. The abbey is the burial place for the O'Kelly sept, whose family crest can be seen on some of the headstones
