Keen photographer, a kid at heart. Reasonably healthy, trek often to interestingly high places, most recently the Haute Pyrenees, Everest Base Camp and Island Peak, Kilimanjaro. My work has brought me all over East Africa - Ethiopia, Zambia, Tanzania - also parts of West Africa. I pack light :)
In addition to my landscape work, I'm a well established beauty and fashion photographer.
Outside of all this, I'm also a film maker and editor, with a career stretching back nearly thirty years.

Trekking above Pheriche, you start to see Island Peak. At just over 6000m it's still two vertical kilometres shorter than Everest, but even still, it's a force to be reckoned with. In the valley below you can see how tough life is for the locals, scratching out sustenance from the barren ground, so high up that not much will grow.
The mountain itself is mostly non-technical, just a very tough slog but the ascent up to the headwall is steep and made in the dark thankfully, because if you could seethe drop you mightn't be so eager to get up there.
