An photographer with a love of land and seascapes. I try to bring to my work the feelings and emotions that I am experiencing at the time of taking the photograph and I find that black & white captures those things perfectly.
My influences are varied but photographically those that I admire most, some obvious, some maybe not so, are Ansel Adams, John Gay, Eugene Atget, Nick Brandt, Sir Simon Marsden and Joe Cornish to name but a few.
Close by the small Derbyshire village of Sheldon are the ruins of the 19th century lead mine.
