An photographer with a love of land and seascapes. I try to bring to my work the feelings and emotions that I am experiencing at the time of taking the photograph and I find that black & white captures those things perfectly.
My influences are varied but photographically those that I admire most, some obvious, some maybe not so, are Ansel Adams, John Gay, Eugene Atget, Nick Brandt, Sir Simon Marsden and Joe Cornish to name but a few.
Curbar Edge along with the nearby Stanage Edge are grit stone cliffs popular today with climbers but once the focus of the millstone industry, the remnants of which can be found all around this area of the Peak District.
