Returned to photography and the digital age in the early 2000s after a break of about 18 years. I enjoy the immediacy of digital photography and I am not averse to post production work on an image. I am improving at photographing landscapes, not very good at photographing people and mostly photograph ‘things’.
Karn Falls, perhaps a derivative of Carn - Irish for a monumental heap of stones - on the Burrenmore Road - Burren is Irish for a rocky place, mor is big, so a big rocky place - Castlerock, Northern Ireland. The falls are not particularly tall, about 14 feet.
