I have always had a passing interest in astronomy but it was not to little more than 4 years ago that I was truly bitten by the astronomy bug. Astrophotography now plays a major role in my life so much so I spend my days monitoring weather and spaceweather websites. By night I tour the county of Donegal in the northwest of Ireland, where I was born and raised, seeking out the idyllic foregrounds to complement the regions famously dark skies.
Data for this was captured at the end of an imaging session back in September and has been hiding on my hard drive ever since!
