Originally from the South of England, I now live in Co. Wicklow and work in Dublin. I started my career in advertising in London before moving to Dublin in 1979; the intended six months stay is now well into its fourth decade.
After working in several advertising agencies, I was a freelance graphic designer and illustrator before leaving the commercial sector altogether. I now express myself visually through photography.
The population of Omey Island has diminished drastically from its maximum when hundreds of people lived there in the early 19th century. By 1988 there were just three households left.
