Originally from the South of England, I now live in Co. Wicklow and work in Dublin. I started my career in advertising in London before moving to Dublin in 1979; the intended six months stay is now well into its fourth decade.
After working in several advertising agencies, I was a freelance graphic designer and illustrator before leaving the commercial sector altogether. I now express myself visually through photography.
Dragged up and spewed, a relic of storm, strain and sinews. Bray has a safe beach of sand and shingle, yet can still be assaulted by vicious easterlies and angry seas. The most recently destructive was Hurricane Charlie in 1986. The aftermath left the beach resembling a war zone with debris strewn as far as you could see; this is but a small reminder of what nature can do along that shore.
